Life Story / Your Memories

Malaki Pauly Carpenter was stillborn 10 Dec 2009 at 8:47pm ...we had found out the day before he was no longer with us as his life source (umbilical cord) had wrapped around his neck and one of his precious hands twice..I had a feeling something was wrong a few weeks before as I had not felt any movements but thought it was just me stressing over our recent loss ....how right was I !!!We had chosen a middle name Pauly as we had lost our precious 11yr old nephew Pauly ouside our home  due to a tragic accident (Pauly was run over by his school bus)only 3 months before 16th September when I was 16 weeks pregnant with Malaki..on the day we learned the news our son was no longer alive we had to prepare for what is a parents worst nightmare to give birth to our son knowing we will never see his smile or cry..

Extended Information

the decision to call him Malaki was made by myself I had another name but chose not to use it (respecting a friend who I hold dear) I had found the name Malaki on Irish baby names took less than 2 minutes went to A's nothing I liked jumped to M's and Malaki stood out as his name means an angel/god's messenger.Malaki was meant to be...on the 10th I was induced in hospital we arrived knowing we would walk out of hospital carrying memories of a short few hours spent with Malaki the hardest ever  time after having 6 normal births before and now the shock of our first loss..we held Malaki for hours took pics..his eyes where open something I will never forget he looked so much like his younger sister already even tho he was only 28 weeks gestastion I had expected to reach at least 34 weeks as Malaki wasnt meant to be born till the 1st March 2010 ..how things change so quickly..I had breezed thru this pregnancy having no problems unlike some previous ones with DVT and carrying boys I had always had morning sickness not this time!! Malaki was a gift for us to cherish but he needed to be with his cousin Pauly..they are both now resting in peace in the same cemetery..Rest in peace my sweet little Angel ..we will love you and miss you always and forever.
