Tessy became a member of our family when she was about six weeks old - she just strolled into our back yard one day and we all fell in love with this beautiful little grey and white fluff ball!
A small but feisty little creature, she was diagnosed with kidney problems when she was about two and we were told she probably wouldn't live much past the age of five.
So much for that diagnosis! Tessy, (known far and wide as The Precious, or Tessy P), proved them wrong and lived to the grand old age of 13!! A true madam, and one who graciously allowed us to share her living quarters, she brought us all so much laughter and affection. Given her past medical history, we would never have guessed that she would be the last to go of our family pets - but she was.
In July 2009, her small kidneys finally gave way and she went to sleep peacefully, surrounded by those who she loved and who loved her.
